“Cesare Pesenti” Technical and VocationalSecondary School was founded in 1951 in Bergamo, Italy.

The school is committed to work with its community to provide a safe, positive and caring

educational environment that will facilitate the growth and development of individuals who will be

adaptive lifelong learners able to function productively in a rapidly changing world. In order to

achieve this mission, the school provides a diversified set of up-to-date academic and technicalvocational

programs focused on helping students acquire employability skills as well as those

skills essential for post secondary education and training.

“Cesare Pesenti” was the first school in Italy to obtain the Quality Certification UNI EN ISO

9002 in 1997, successively extended in the Certification UNI EN ISO 9001 in 2000.

The school is involved in didactic projects and experimentations and cooperates regularly with

national and international companies, local firms, private and public institutions, offering its

students the possibility of internship and training periods during the year. It is also particularly

devoted to the integration of foreign students and of students with special needs.
